Welcome to the Arcona Neighborhood Group food drive!
We are again excited to join with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank in the fight against hunger. Since 2018, the Arcona Neighborhood Group has organized an annual Thanksgiving food fund drive and Turkey Trot/Walk.
Food shouldn’t be a difficult choice.
Prices for many household goods and services are surging, putting further strain on family budgets. So many of our neighbors are forced to make difficult choices between paying for groceries or paying for other critical needs such as housing, transportation, and childcare.
Your gift at this time is urgently needed and will help the food bank:
- Distribute crisis recovery boxes filled with healthy, non-perishable food across their network
- Provide food boxes to homebound, at-risk seniors who can't leave home to purchase groceries
- Deploy mobile food pantries to high-need areas of our community
- Partner with schools to feed families who have lost access to school meals
