OGC Main Holiday Food Drive -
Together We Can Fight Hunger
Welcome to the 2022 OGC virtual food drive! We are excited to again join the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank in the fight against hunger. The Food Bank has been gathering every possible resource to provide food and supplies to all who need it, but they continue to face a sharp increase in demand around the holiday season.
More kids, parents, and seniors in our community are going hungry. Those who were already struggling face even greater challenges — not only to be fed, but to stay healthy. Nourishing food is the most basic need for our vulnerable neighbors. Your gift at this time is urgently needed and will help them:
- Distribute crisis response boxes filled with healthy, non-perishable food across their network
- Provide food boxes to homebound, at-risk seniors who can't leave home to purchase groceries
- Deploy mobile food pantries to high-need areas of our community
- Partner with schools to feed families who have lost access to school meals
